Autodesk maya interactive

I am hoping to get an answer as I've search all over internet and in no luck at all. I am currently working on a project where I am using Xgen Interactive for grooming. Everything works fine except for the width brush doesn't seem to be being saved to the sculpt layer. All the tool works fine and gets saved to the sculpt layer except for the width brush. It basically widen my primitives permanently.

I tried creating a new empty scene and still doesn't work. Wonder if I'm doing something wrong or forgot to enable some setting? Should be pretty straight forward right? Try positioning the cylinders like Mayabot shows, then change your selection between the two cylinders a few times. That should "dislodge" it I'll have to look into why my fix didn't work. Matt I made it past the Cylinders with some finessing, but got stuck again when asked for the Asset Browser for the sculpture.

It didn't pop up in time I think, and I hit the next button before I should have, and at that point all I could do was hit next should there be a Back button? William Hendarto Wijono 3 months ago. Hello, like most other users here I'm also stuck at step Is it possible to check only that the cylinder has been duplicated instead of forcing to stack onto the previous cylinder?

I tried switching between the two and it still didn't work, so I'm stuck here now :. Matt Chan 3 months ago. Hey all, so sorry about the problems at step Please try re-downloading it and giving it a shot again.

It looks like my original fix was flawed. I've updated the file link to a "V2" of the file that should fix that issue once and for all. Emily Williams 3 months ago. I too am having the issue on step I have re-downloaded the zip file and de-selected then re-selected the cylinder. However, after restarting step 41 several times, deleting my copy and adjusting the top lip of the original cylinder, I was able to pass step It is not allowing me to "edit" my original comment.

Im trying to do the interactive modeling one right now. Jimmy, that's very unusual You're running Maya Klaudia Rucinska 3 months ago. I seem to not be able move past the Scaling the bottom part of the stand, stage. The image that is supposed to show you what to make it look like is not there, and no matter what I do it won't let me move forward.

Klaudia, is it only the one demonstration image that's broken? Or is it all of them? If you look in the project folder's "srcimage" subfolder, is the image there? David Malpica 2 months ago. Hey Matt, thanks for the fixes.

I gave this another try and here is what I've found. On the Content Browser step, the bubble aligns with another button, and I don't see the content browser on the default shelf. Alannah Hsia 2 months ago. I tried de-selecting and re-selecting, and I'm using the newest tutorial version. Matt Chan 2 months ago. Alannah can you try setting the duplicate's Translate Y between 6.

But no prompts to interact with ever appear. Hoping for a reply. Hi Jacob Bell, try opening Maya first, then loading the tutorial don't double-click the scene file in an explorer window to start it.

Also, make sure you're running Maya Matt Chan Thank you for the reply! This worked in getting the tutorial prompts to appear. Unfortunately the backgrounds in the tutorial scenes do not load, but they are at least functional now.

Thanks again. Jacob Bell : Ah sorry about that! It's part of the default install, but if you skipped it, just run the installer again and choose to add it to the install you can just install Arnold on its own, no need to reinstall Maya again. David Malpica 4 months ago. This one worked great out of the Maya Help menu! Thanks Matt! Jun Zhang 1 month ago. Hi guys, Is any way to jump to some stage to start while not from begin? Seems it always start step 1.

Keith Rogers 1 month ago. The material properties and textures inputs are identical between these two materials. The materials themselves also look and respond to light similarly.

Note that this shader is implemented as a Shader Graph. If you want to manually create an Autodesk Interactive material:. Toggles whether the material uses the ColorMap property or the BaseColor property to color its surface.

Enable this checkbox to use the ColorMap property, disable this checkbox to use the BaseColor property. The color of the material. This property is similar to the albedo color available in the Physically Based shader.
